ILOILO CITY — A man and his nephew were found dead early morning Tuesday in Barangay Balabago in Jaro District this city.
The fatalities were identified by their family as Jimrod Eribal, 22, and his nephew Tristan Zacary Eribal, 19, both of Lapaz district.
According to their relatives who requested anonymity, Jimrod was taken by unidentified suspects in his house in Barangay San Isidro, La Paz, while Tristan was taken from his friend’s house in Caingin, La Paz at past 1 a.m. on Tuesday.
At past 5 a.m., the victims’ bodies were found with bullet wounds and with transparent packaging tape wrapped around their faces.
Data from La Paz police showed that Jimrod was a suspect in a series of robberies in La Paz, an allegation strongly denied by his family.
