Mayor Mariano Blanco III of Ronda town was dumbfounded when he received a report from the National Police Commission (Napolcom) that he was allegedly involved in the illegal drugs trade. “I’m really shocked. I have been serving the town for 22 years now, and my name was never besmirched until this issue came,” he said in a phone interview on Wednesday.

“ABS-CBN network will air the Meteor Garden remake”

 

Dubbed as the original home of Asianovelas, ABS-CBN has earned the rights to air the upcoming remake of the hit Taiwanese series Meteor Garden, ABS-CBN News reported.

A new set of actors were announced to play F4 in the remake. Darren Cheng, Dylan Wang, Connor Leong and Caesar Wu graced the cover of Harper's Bazaar and were introduced as the next F4.

In 2003, the Kapamilya network aired the original Meteor Garden series which starred Taiwanese stars Barbie Shu, Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu. The network also aired the Korean version of the soap titled Boys Over Flowers in 2009 which helped catapult Lee Min Ho to popularity in Asia.

The story is inspired by the Japanese Manga “Hana Yori Dango”.
