“Jaya explains three consecutive gongs on TNT: “Mahirap po kasing masira ang kredibilidad mo””


Queen of Soul Jaya finally spoke up about the controversial "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" episode where she gave "gong" verdicts to the contenders of the show thrice in a row last February. 

"Alam niyo kung bakit? Mahirap po kasing masira ang kredibilidad mo. Alam mo na ang naririnig mo tapos pagbibigyan mo. So is it about being fair? Or is it about naaawa ka?" she said, speaking to the press during Cornerstone Entertainment's media night event. 

"So for me, if you know you are going to sing and you know that this is a competition, you get that one shot. You do it like it's the last time you are going to sing. Now if I see something wrong, magbibigay ako ng chance. But at the same time, I have to be fair to the others," she continued. 

Then again, Jaya re-assured that what she did was part of the job.

"'Yun lang po. Pero mahal mo namin ng lahat ng contenders ng "Tawag ng Tanghalan" dahil 'pag wala po sila, wala pong show."

A new member of the upcoming horror film Eerie starting Charo Santos and Bea Alonzo has been revealed.

Jake Cuenca took to his Instagram account on Tuesday to reveal that he is joining the two ladies on the Mikhail Red horror flick.



Jake was last seen on TV at Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin and as Lizardo in the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Ang Panday.

Maxene Magalona took to Instagram to express her love for her father Francis Magalona. The Magalona family went to the cemetery to visit the grave of the iconic Pinoy rapper, who passed away in 2009.

“March 6, 2009 was the day you joined God in heaven. Nine years later, here we all are still honoring you and your legacy which we will continue doing for the rest of our lives. Thank you for always watching over us, papa! We love and miss you!” Maxene wrote in her post.
