Khalil Ramos is the ultimate winner of Japanese-reality game show Find the Wasabi in Nagoya, besting two other Asian contenders, actors Daniel Sher of Singapore and Tay Tawan of Thailand.
Set out on a mission to find the ‘secret spice’ of Nagoya, all three faced and conquered several tasks throughout the show, during which they were immersed in the rich culture of Japan – from the country’s stunning landscapes down to their world-class cuisine. In the end, it was the Filipino actor-turned-director who brought his A-game and was held champion.
