MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) has filed murder charges against the suspects behind the killing of businessman Dominic Sytin, including the brother of the victim.
The suspects are facing cases of murder and frustrated murder in connection with the assassination of the businessman on Nov. 28, 2018, in front of Lighthouse Hotel inside the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
In a case referral letter issued on Friday, police identified the suspects as Dennis Sytin, Edgardo Luib, 42, Oliver Fuentes and another unnamed accomplice.
The PNP previously identified Dennis Sytin as the mastermind behind the assassination of the businessman, citing the confession from Luib, the alleged gunman.
Chief Supt. Joel Napoleon Coronel, regional director of Police Regional Office 3 (Central Luzon), said the siblings were arguing over business matters.
