The Will & Grace reboot doesn’t premiere on NBC until Sept. 28, but the show has already been picked up for a second season. It was announced during NBC’s TCA Summer press tour on Thursday that the highly anticipated reboot will be coming back for season two, and that the season one episode count has been increased from 12 to 16. That’s a whole lot of Karen Walker!
A reboot of the beloved sitcom, which originally aired from 1998 to 2006, was first announced back in April after a reunion video between the stars went viral. Since then, the original cast members — Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes — have shared behind-the-scenes snaps via social media, and just this week, the male leads made out for the cameras at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the show in NYC.
